Angry Birds Now On Mars With NASA

After making blast with Angry Birds Space, Now the Finnish gaming studio has officially launched the update in partnership with NASA. Rovio is getting support from National Geographic also, for the promotion of the new mission. This update comes a few weeks after Rovio had sent out an teaser for the Martian adventure.

Game is based on planet Mars. There are total 20 themed levels. The swine community has hijacked the rover in an attempt to find the eggs. The bird-on-pig rivalry continues with a new astronaut pig and two extra antenna egg levels. Players will find themselves in the environs of the Gale Craters, slinging the furious flock while dodging asteroids and volcanoes.

Rovio is planning to launch this new amazing game on this fall. I am waiting for this....

BackTrack 5 R3 Download

The third release of version 5 of the BackTrack Linux security distribution fixes several bugs discovered since the R2 release in March and adds over 60 new tools. Several of the new tools were released as part of presentations at the recent Black Hat and DEFCON conferences. The distribution has also added a completely new category of software for "physical exploitation". This category includes libraries and an IDE for the Arduino and the Kautilya toolkit which provides payloads for the Teensy USB development board.


BackTrack can be run as a live CD for added security and flexibility or can be permanently installed on a system. The distribution is developed with security researchers and penetration testers in mind and offers one of the most comprehensive collections of Linux-based security software. Development of the distribution is sponsored by Offensive Security.
BackTrack 5 R3 is available with a choice of KDE and GNOME desktops for 32- and 64-bit machines and the project also provides a pre-built VMware image. ISO images can be downloaded directly from the distribution's mirrors or via BitTorrent. Information on how to install and use BackTrack is available from theproject's wiki.


BackTrack 5 R3 focuses not only on bug-fixes but it also adds over 60 new tools.

Send Facebook Photos as Real Postcards

Facebook is rocking every day. Mark is trying beyond limit of social networking. Now they are testing a feature that allows you to turn your Facebook photos into physical postcards that can be sent to your friends. Service is started by Sincerely. You won’t be able to send public photos or photos from pages.

Just like a traditional postcard, the photo will be displayed on the front of the card, and you can type a personalized message to your friend on the backside. Postcards will allow you to type in your friend’s address if you know it, or ask him or her for their physical address is you don’t.

First real-money Facebook gambling app launches

The current trend for big-money bingo has hit Facebook in the form of a real-cash gambling app called Bingo & Slots Friendzy. 
The app, the name of which sets the expectation bar fairly low, is Facebook's first app that allows gambling with real money and is available only to UK users of the social network. 
In line with UK law, you'll have to be 18 to chance your arm at some real cash prizes, with stringent "account acceptance controls verifying their identity" in place to stop younger players.
Given that gambling is an addictive pastime, all users will also "have access to a number of self-help tools to limit their spending and exclude themselves from playing at any time".

Quite a gamble

The UK is the "lucky" first country to get a social gambling app because of its "mature and very well-regulated gambling market" – non UK users won't see any stories generated by the gambling app in their news feeds, nor will they be able to access the applications from the Facebook App Center.
Outside the UK, Facebookers will have to make do with chancing pretend money on apps likeZynga Bingo and Zynga Poker.
The app has been created by Gamesys, the company behind Jackpot Joy and those irritating Barbara Windsor adverts. 
Jackpotjoy MD Michael Saunders said, "We've reinvented our exclusive Bingo and Slots games to appeal to the UK Facebook community. This marks an exciting turning point for the industry and a milestone for the Gamesys business." 

Cash in

Meanwhile, a Facebook spokesperson made the point that the app is not a joint venture and has been developed entireley by Gamesys.
They justified the move in a statement to us: "Real money gaming is a popular and well-regulated activity in the UK and we are allowing a partner to offer their games to adult users on the Facebook platform in a safe and controlled manner."
Of course, there'll be a lot of money in it for Facebook if the bingo game takes off – there hasn't been any discussion of figures in the press materials, but given that Facebook was making 12 per cent of its income from Zynga back in February 2012 by taking a 30 per cent cut of Zynga's in-game purchases, you can bet that Facebook's taking no small cut. 
And you know what they say: the house always wins.

iCar, Dream Car of Steve Jobs

Say what you will about him — Steve Jobs dreamt big. He didn’t just set out to change personal computers, or even stop at mobile devices. He clearly wanted Apple‘s influence to extend to all areas of daily life. Case in point: He once seriously considered designing a connected car, probably called the iCar.

What might an iCar be like? You could probably imagine a very modern interior, with a Ford Sync-like interface that would certainly sync wirelessly with your iPhone, iPad or iPod. Apps would adapt so you could interact with them via the dashboard, and Siri would definitely be present (voice control makes the most sense in the car).

What about the exterior? That’s anyone’s guess, but designers have been creating iCar designs for years. There was the bulbous iMove from Liviu Tudoran that resembled a vehicular iMac (see below) to the recent iCar design from Franco Grassi.

Tips to recover scratched CD's

1. Spread a cloth on a flat surface and place the CD on it.
2. Then, hold the disc with one hand, use the other to wipe the polish into the affected area with a soft cloth.
3. Wait for it to dry and buff using short, brisk strokes along the scratch, not across it.
4. A cloth sold to wipe spectacles or camera lenses will work super m8's.
5. When you can no longersee the scratch,, wash the disc with water and let it dry before playing. Intersting isnt it? Try it right now
I have used toothpaste with good effects before Ive also used car paint cutting compound on deeper scratches. It does leave lots of smaller scratches (as it is a cutting compound after all) but it will remove the worst scratches in most cases.
